Privacy Policy
In order to improve our website, Mays & Associates may use "cookies" to track your visit to our website. A cookie, which is small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you, functions as your identification card, recording your passwords, purchases, and preferences. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it. (For some Web pages which require authorization, cookies are not optional. Users choosing not to accept cookies will likely not be able to access those pages.) While Mays & Associates uses cookies to track your visit to ad-mays.com and our web servers automatically log the IP/Internet address of your computer, this information does not identify you personally and you remain anonymous unless you have otherwise provided us with personal information.
Terms of Use
By using this site, you agree to the terms of the Mays & Associates Online Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this site. Mays & Associates is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of non-Mays & Associates websites to which ad-mays.com or any other hosted site may link.
General Hosting Policies
There are several policies created to ensure fairness to all of the clients that host with Mays & Associates.
- Pornography, pirated software, mp3 archives, rom archives, freeware/shareware software archives, cracking/hacking tools, and spamming are not allowed. Any material of this nature or links to material of this nature will cause the account to be shut down without financial refund.
- Mays & Associates reserves the right to close any website that is using an unreasonable amount of bandwidth or server CPU time.
- Failure to pay on time will result in the loss of the account.
- Websites that contain material that is intentionally offensive to racial minorities are not permitted. Sites that are found to contain such offensive content will be closed.
- If you send spam, your account will be closed. We do not and will not tolerate spam. We reserve the right to charge $100 US per spam message that is sent or attempted to be sent to, or through, any our servers. If a spammer is putting uptime or performance at risk by flooding the email servicers with spam, we have every legal right to receive payment from the spam sender or the company represented within the spam to cover the cost of the services rendered. This policy applies equally to Mays & Associates customers and non-Mays & Associates customers.
- Mays & Associates reserves the right to block incoming email from any remote SMTP relay at any time for any reason. If a remote SMTP relay is misconfigured, spammers will often exploit the remote relay to send thousands (sometimes millions) of spams. If a spammer is abusing a remote SMTP relay to mailbomb domains at Mays & Associates, we will immediately block the IP of the SMTP relay that the spammer is abusing. Mays & Associates also subscribes to multiple RBLs (real-time blocking lists) to automatically block known open SMTP relays and known spamming relays. While this policy dramatically reduces the amount of spam sent to our clients, this may inadvertently block some legitimate email.
- Pricing and policies are subject to politely change at any time. Our policies are non-negotiable
